It is said that the Crimean Peninsula was created by God to be delighted with every combination of its superlative scenery with boundless steppes contrasting with the magnificent ragged peaks of the Crimean mountains, golden sandy beaches spread along its West and East Coast, with enormous amounts of rocks on the Southern Coast, lovely valleys with its lush green pastures and subtropical vegetation. July and August are marked with the highest sea water temperature. Usually sea bathing season lasts from May to October. In February almond is already in bloom. Then comes cheerful mosaic of spring colors followed by splended scenery of the blooming trees, bushes and flowers up to late November. Indian summer coming in early autumn is distinguished by the identical temperature of the air and sea water (+24C, + 25C). The Crimean is famous for its magnificent resorts, numerous monuments of history, culture and art and also for its original grape wines of high quality. |
