Basic high school mathematics.

TEXTS

The texts for the course are:
  1. Python Programming: An Introduction to Computer Science by John Zelle. This book is available at the UMaine Bookstore, online, and various other places. You can find it at Google Books.
  2. Think Python: How to Think Like a Computer Scientist by Allen Downey. This book is available as a PDF file here for download.
The Zelle book will be the primary text and the Downey book will be used as a supplementary text.
